The waitlist

When you join our waitlist we keep the details you give us: your first name, email address, country, the plan you're interested in, your children's age groups, and whether you'd like a tester spot. We use them only to tell you about Tycoon Kids World (our launch, tester spots and news about the games) and to understand which families are interested. We never sell your details, and we never share them for anyone else's marketing.

You can unsubscribe at any time with the link in our emails, or ask us to delete your details by replying to any email from us.

The form is run by our website host, Netlify, which stores the sign-ups for us.

Parent accounts

To play, a parent or guardian (18 or older) creates an account with an email and password, or with Google. We keep the account's email address, when it was made, its membership status, and a scrambled copy of your 4-digit parent PIN (never the PIN itself). When a new account is made, our website host Netlify sends us a short email with the account's email address, so we can let testers in.

Accounts and progress are stored with Google Firebase (Google Cloud), which keeps them safe for us. Only you can see your account and your children's progress.

Children

Children never need an email or password. For each child we only keep their first name, country and grade (added by you), the character they design, and their progress in the world: tokens, homestead and house, the games they play, their levels and answers per skill, and how long they play. We use it to pitch games at the right level, to use the right units and school words, and to show you their progress in your parent dashboard.

There are no ads, no chat and no links out of the game. Children can't see or contact other players.

You can change a child's name or grade, or remove a child and all of their progress, at any time in the parent area. To delete your whole account, reply to any email from us (or email us) and we'll do it.
